A completely new footwear has been born!
This revolutionary footwear, using Hinoki White Cedar, is a product of the “Rendezvous Project” in Shizuoka, and was created by Mizutori in collaboration with the prominent Japanese artist Kodue Hibino.
Natural Cypress + Special Technique of Compression
Skilled craftsmanship and a new technique have made it possible for this cypress footwear to be both comfortable and practical. Simply put on a pair and go for a walk! A special technique of compression strengthens this innovative footwear, made from the natural cypress that grows in Shizuoka, Japan. The surface is carefully sculptured to fit your foot comfortably. Pure cypress wood, with its antibacterial and deodorising effects, is simple and strong, but gentle to your skin. This soothing footwear adds non-trimmed leather thongs to traditional geta craftsmanship. Cypress footwear conveys the exhalation of the forest. These geta can be worn both indoors and out. (Registered design, patent application submitted.)
